Superstar Salman Khan’s Kick
is being challenged by the Singham’s roar. Yes Ajay Devgn’s Singham
Returns on Independence Day holiday made for a roaring start by earning
big on the first day of its release. A sequel to Rohit Shetty’s
successful ‘Singham’, the film made good collections at the box office.
As
per sources, ‘Singham Returns’ opened to packed cinema houses and has
done a business of approximately Rs. 30 crores on the first day itself,
as against Rs. 26 crores BO Collection that ‘Kick’ had generated.
‘Singham’ was a blockbuster and people’s expectations from its sequel
are the same. Things are expected to pick up on the weekend and upcoming
Janamashtami holiday both in single screens and multiplexes.

Khan’s ‘Kick’ has been ruling the box office for sometime now, Akshay
Kumar’s ‘Entertainment’ too tried to takeover but looks like Ajay Devgn –
Kareena Kapoor starrer is all set to capture the Box Office.
